Important:

Children under 18 travelling with one parent – a notarised declaration from the other parent (original and copy) is required for presentation to the Bulgarian customs authorities. In case of a mismatch of surnames, a birth certificate (original and copy) is required.

Visa regime for citizens of Bulgaria, relative to the airport of arrival and/or departure in Egypt:
Upon landing in Cairo – visa at a cost of 27 USD. Payment and collection on arrival in Egypt. The visa is for a stay of up to 30 days.
Upon landing in Hurghada – visa with a price of 27 USD. Payment and collection on arrival in Egypt. The visa is for a stay of up to 30 days.
Upon landing in Sharm El Sheikh – a free stamp from the border authorities valid for 14 days is applied upon landing. The stamp is valid for the territory of the Sinai Peninsula. If you are planning or have Cairo on your itinerary, you should purchase a visa on entry at a cost of US$27.

In the event of early termination of the contract at the initiative of the TRAVELER, the amount paid by him or on his behalf shall be refunded through the travel agent who concluded the travel package contract with the TRAVELER on behalf and at the expense of the tour operator, when the TRAVELER is unable to start and complete the trip due to any of the following reasons, which was unforeseeable at the time of conclusion of the travel package contract and occurred before the date of departure regardless of the will of the traveler:

1.1.Accident, acute illness (an illness which occurs suddenly and unpredictably, poses a danger to the life or health of the traveller and requires urgent medical intervention) or sudden exacerbation of a chronic illness of a TRAVELLER under the package contract, excluding a COVID 19 illness, provided that hospital or home treatment is in progress at the commencement date of the trip and there is a risk of the traveller’s health deteriorating from the trip.

Early transfer to Sharm el-Sheikh airport for flight to Cairo
Visit the famous pyramids of Giza. The Pyramids of Giza have long been the most visited attraction around Cairo. Since the time of their construction, the pyramids of Giza have embodied ancient mystery and given rise to incredible hypotheses. The pyramids are the only wonder of the ancient world that has survived almost intact. The funerary Great Pyramid of Cheops is the oldest at Giza and the largest in the world, built c. 2500 BC from nearly 2.3 million limestone blocks weighing an average of 2.75 tons and moved by 100,000 slaves. The three smaller pyramids next door belong to the queens or sisters of Cheops. The Sphinx is located nearby, a strange figure with the body of a lion, the face of a man and a royal beard.

Visit the Museum of Egypt in Cairo. Here are collected all the historical riches of Egypt, gathered from all archaeological excavations. The museum displays more than 12,000 artifacts from every period of Egyptian history. The Egyptian National Museum has a collection of 136,000 valuable exhibits, from statues and reliefs to miniature coins and amulets. The museum was inaugurated by Said Pasha in 1857, at the suggestion of French architect Auguste Mariette, and moved several times to finally settle in the heart of Cairo.
