Departure for Hluboka Castle – one of the most famous and visited castles in the Czech Republic, built on the northern edge of Lake Budejovice, on a sharp promontory above the Vltava River in the 13th century, acquired its present appearance in 1871 thanks to the Schwarzenberg family and the wife of the then ruler Eleonora. At her request, the architect Franz Beher designed a Gothic castle in the Windsor style. It took about 40 years of construction work to build the magnificent castle. The old castle was completely demolished and replaced by a picturesque Gothic building with a lovely English garden. The total number of rooms is 140, 20 of which are open to visitors. The interior of the castle is extremely opulent and even lavish, given the particularly valuable carvings, which have cost a great deal of money and effort. *The entrance fee and the visit to the castle are not included in the tour package price.

We visit Neuschwanstein Castle – The “swan castle” that served as the set for Walt Disney’s most famous castle of Ludwig I. From the bus parking, it is a 30-minute walk to Neuschwanstein Castle. It is possible to get around by ferry – the price in the upward direction or by a special shuttle bus. When visiting Neuschwanstein, keep in mind that there are 90 steps between the first and second floor of the castle (the staircase is in the castle tower). Visit the fairy Linderhof Castle – the only baroque and rococo palace that Ludwig II managed to complete in his lifetime and is his favourite castle.

On the 6th day of the excursion program departure for Lake Himsee. By boat we reach Herenheimsee Castle – the best copy of Versailles and the most expensive project of King Ludwig II. He lived here for only 10 days, ordering the Hall of Mirrors to be illuminated every evening by all 33 chandeliers and 44 candlesticks, in which 2,000 candles burned. Royal lilies, the symbol of the Bourbons, sculptures, paintings with the image of the Sun King adorn the interior rooms of the castle.
On day 7 of the program we continue with a walk in Innsbruck – the 5th largest city in Austria, located on both banks of the river Inn, possessing a long history, beautiful architecture, direct access to scenic panoramas and hiking trails, lively cultural life, winter sports, spa facilities and culinary traditions. Innsbruck is the city under the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl),which is the most famous landmark. A 500-year-old terrace covered with 2,657 gilded copper tile , built by the Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I on the occasion of his wedding to Bianca Maria Sforza, eldest daughter of the Duke of Milan. We will also see the fabulously beautiful Helblinghaus, the Imperial Hofburg Palace, which is one of the three most important historic buildings in Austria, along with the Hofburg and Schönbrunn palaces in Vienna, the Gothic Hofkirche, considered a true architectural gem.
