Itinerary

Direct flight from Sofia to Fez. Landing at Fez airport. Welcome and transfer. Duration of the transfer - about 30 min. Accommodation at Golden Tulip Tghat 4* or similar.

A tourist program in charming Fez - an open-air museum, an invitation to explorers and the oldest of the four imperial cities. With more than 12 centuries of history, the medina of 9,500 streets enclosed by ancient fortified walls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The oldest religious university is located here. The city of Fes is known for its diversity and well-preserved artisan quarters.
Dinner. Overnight.

Breakfast.
Optional excursion to Shefchaouen - the blue city of Morocco. They say it's not worth going to Morocco if you don't see Shefshauen. The town is nestled in the slopes of the Rif mountain range. The area is known for hashish cultivation. More interesting is that everything around is blue. Wear something appropriate to stand out against the fabulous backdrop.
Return to Fez. Dinner. Overnight.

Breakfast.
Departure to the fabulous Meknes (under UNESCO protection), created by Sultan Moulay Ismail and called the Moroccan Versailles. There is the largest gate in Morocco and North Africa established during the reign of Moulay Ismail - Bab Mansour. El Khedim Square. Arrival in Rabat, panoramic city tour including the Hassan Tower, the unfinished minaret that has watched over the city from above for more than 800 years and the mausoleum of the Moroccan Sultan, later King Mohammed V - the finest of Arab-African art expressed through onyx, marble and fine carvings; the Royal Palace - view from outside. Depart for Casablanca - the beating heart of Morocco. We will have the opportunity to enjoy the charm of this cosmopolitan coastal capital. Walk along Boulevard De La Corniche, on the Atlantic coast, the majestic Hassan II Mosque (if possible, visit with additional entrance), pass by bus through the upscale Anfa district. Visit the United Nations Square and the largest park Arab League with its palm trees.
Accommodation at Hotel Suisse 4* or similar in Casablanca. Dinner. Overnight

Breakfast. Departure to Marrakech. Tour of Marrakech including the Koutoubia Mosque - outside, the largest mosque in Morocco. A visit to Gemma El Fna Square, where the show never stops - fire-eaters, storytellers, monkey trainers and all kinds of entertainers.

Possibility of additional excursions:

Visit the Majorelle Gardens - this garden, prosaically called a botanical garden, is actually magical and combines French artist Jacques Majorelle's vision of colours and light shades, his love of Islamic art and plants. His aim was to create, as he himself said, "an impressionist garden", "a cathedral of forms and colours". It's like a puzzle piece from some other reality, misplaced amidst the pink colouring of Marrakech.
Accommodation at Farah Marrakesh Hotel 4* or Atlas Asni Hotel 4* or similar. Dinner. Overnight.

After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive to
Ouarzazate through the Tichka River Canyon and the high Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ben Haddou, a village famous for its architecture, which is typically Berber - one of the best preserved fortified Berber fortresses in all of southern Morocco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A labyrinth of colourful streets and picturesque passages weave between the fragile mud houses and create a unique atmosphere. Parts of films loved by millions of people, such as The Mummy, Gladiator, Prince of Persia and more, and more, have been filmed here at Atlas Studio. Depart for Ouarzazate, a small Moroccan town, a caramel oasis under the bright blue African sky. We will reach it by the "Road of the Thousand Casbahs", dotted with more of these beautiful fortifications that we can define as Berber castles made of adobe. Ouarzazate - Located in the Atlas Mountains, famous for its "Ouazguita" carpets with geometric designs and red-orange patterns on a black background. Ouarzazate has long been a crossroads for African traders on their way to northern Morocco and Europe. During the French domination, the town grew and became an administrative centre.
Accommodation at Hotel Ouarzazate Le Riad 4* or similar. Dinner. Overnight.

Breakfast.
Departure for the Todra River Canyon and the town of Tahir. Our route passes through the oasis "El Jorf". The gorge is carved by the two rivers Todra and Dade and becomes most impressive near Tinerhir, where for 600 metres, the canyon walls are 10 metres apart, rising 160 metres high and changing colours as the day progresses, according to legend. Arrival in Erfoud - also called the "Gate of the Desert". In ancient times, the small town of Erfoud, located near the Algerian border, served as a well-fortified outpost for French colonial troops in Morocco. Departure along the Paris-Dakar rally route, towards the Algerian border and the town of. Merzouga, to be captured by the mysterious abandoned world among the endless sand dunes - Erg Chebi, where the Berber tribes live.
Accommodation at the beginning of the desert in Kasbah Laila 4* camp or similar. A typical Moroccan Berber dinner. Overnight.

*It is recommended to prepare the necessary luggage for one night! The main luggage remains on the bus.

Early morning opportunity for an optional excursion into the dunes of Erg Chebi.
After breakfast, depart for Marrakech. Evening arrival and check in at Hotel Farah Marrakech 4* or similar. Dinner. Overnight.

Breakfast. Transfer to Marrakech airport for flight to Bulgaria. Landing at Sofia Airport.
