Fly to Shanghai Land in Shanghai, the largest city in China and one of the most cosmopolitan places in the world. Located on the delta of the r. The city is often referred to as the "Paris of the East" or the "Pearl of the East". Your local guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel.

You will visit the temple of "Jade Buddha".
This Buddhist shrine was built more than 100 years ago.
Next, take a walk in the Yu Yuan Garden, located in the center of the Old City.
It was built 400 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. You will be able to visit the Shanghai French Concession, which was once famous for its gambling houses and opium smoking houses.

Shanghai - Zhuzhao Breakfast.

You will visit the ancient city of Zhuzhao, which is located in one of the suburbs of Shanghai.
Known as the "Water City" or the "Shanghai Venice", it is cut by canals of various shapes and sizes.

Shanghai - Yichang Breakfast.
You will have the opportunity to explore the Bund waterfront, a symbol of Shanghai, telling the story of the city's colonial past, as well as the Nanjing Commercial Boulevard (included).
You will then depart by high-speed train to Yichang.
The journey takes about 8 hours.
The train has a restaurant that provides drinks and snacks.
Upon arrival in Yichang, you will board a 4-star cruise ship late in the evening.
4 nights accommodation and full board (day 6; 7; 8) are provided on board the ship.

The cruise begins upstream of the Yangtze, the longest river in Asia, and passes through the first and longest gorge - the Silling.
In the afternoon, a visit is planned to the Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydroelectric dam in the world still under construction.

You will pass through the picturesque Wu area, one of the three famous gorges on the river.
Next, take a boat trip along the banks of the Shennong River (included).
Later, the journey takes you to the shortest but most spectacular Chutang Gorge, where you will be left breathless by the spectacular views of the high mountains on either side.

Arrive in Chongqing where you will board a train to Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province.
Overnight in the Xi'an area.

Free day or visit the Terracotta Army with its 6000 soldiers (optional excursions package).
You will then be driven to the railway station where you will board the Xi'an-Beijing train.

You will visit the Summer Palace - the largest and most preserved imperial garden in China (included in price).
The two most attractive elements are the Long Corridor and Kunming Lake.

Free day or excursion (package "Additional excursions") to the Great Wall - Juyongguan section and Olympia Park. You can take photos at Beijing National Stadium, known as the "Bird's Nest". Dinner includes Peking roast duck (Dinner Package).
