Terms of payment:
400 BGN deposit upon enrolment and contract signing and full payment 45 days prior to departure.

Deadline for notification if the minimum number of tourists per program is not reached:
20 days before the departure date.
The offer is valid for a minimum of 20 tourists.

Travellers have the right to unilaterally terminate the contract at any time prior to the commencement of the tour package upon payment of the following amounts:

From the day following the day of payment of the Deposit:
– up to 44 days before the date of travel – 35% of the total price of the trip under the Contract;
– between 28 days and 43 days before the date of travel – 50% of the total price of the trip under the Contract;
– between 16 days and 27 days before the date of travel – 70% of the total price of the trip under the Contract;
– between 9 days and 15 days before the date of travel – 80% of the total price of the trip under the Contract;
– less than 9 days before the date of travel – 100% of the total price of the trip under the Contract.
Name change or correction – a fee will be charged according to the carrier’s tariff.

Documents required for the trip:

Identity document (international passport or ID card) valid for 6 months after the end of the trip;
For children under 18 travelling with or without one parent – a notarised power of attorney (from one or both parents – depending on the case) is required;
For children where the parents have different surnames – it is necessary to carry a copy of the child’s birth certificate in which the parents are listed.

The airline has the right to change the departure and landing times, for which the tour operator will inform in due time;
The tour operator is not responsible for any changes in museum fees and museum opening hours;
The tour operator is not responsible for tourists who are not admitted by border authorities.

Itinerary

Flight to Crete Your guide will meet you at the airport and accompany you to your hotel. Overnight in the Heraklion area.

Heraklion Breakfast. The tour is dedicated to the largest city in Crete, Heraklion (included in the price). You will visit the Archaeological Museum, which hosts exhibits from the Minoan civilization. You will continue to the Palace of Knossos, the most important archaeological and historical site on the island. You will walk through the Venetian fortress of Cule. At the top of the fortress there is an open-air theatre used during summer festivities. Other attractions are the Liberty Square, the Morosini Fountain and Dedalus Street with its many shops. Overnight in the Heraklion area.

Free time - Margarite - Monastery of Arcadi - Rethymnon Breakfast. You will have free time or the option of an excursion (package "Additional excursions"). On this day you will visit the village of Margarite, where the art of pottery has existed since ancient times thanks to the natural deposits of clay. You will learn about the art of the Cretan masters. You will continue to the Monastery of Arcadi, a monument to the Cretan struggle for freedom against Turkish rule. Then you will explore the port city of Rethymnon. Stroll through the small streets and enjoy the Venetian harbour. Overnight in the Heraklion area.

Matala Breakfast. During this day the scenic drive offers several interesting highlights. The journey passes through the fertile plain of Messara until we reach the rich Matala (included). On the south coast of Crete, on the beautiful shores of the Libyan Sea is the sandy, world famous beach of Matala. The small village has less than 100 permanent residents. It owes its fame mostly to the hippies who lived here in the late 1960s and 1970s. Enjoy a stroll through the village's small streets of shops, cafes and tavernas or the endless beach. Overnight in the Heraklion area.

Free time - Lasithi - Psychro Cave Breakfast. You will have free time or an excursion option is available (optional excursions package). You will visit the Lasithi plateau, a fertile landscape with vegetable gardens. It is also known to tourists as the "Valley of the Hundred Mills". They are the emblem and symbol of the agricultural heritage of Lassithi. You will explore the Psychro Cave, believed to be the birthplace of Zeus. You will head to the village of Krasi to see the mighty plane tree, one of the largest in Europe. Overnight in the Heraklion area.

Free time - Chania Breakfast. You will have free time or an optional excursion to picturesque Chania (available on site). Travel along the northwest coast to reach the second largest city on Crete. You will take a relaxing stroll through the charming narrow streets of the old town and the Venetian harbour. Overnight in the Heraklion area.

Free time - Olive Oil Factory - St. Breakfast. You will have free time or the option of an excursion (optional excursions package). The tour will start with a visit to an olive and olive oil factory, where you will learn how Crete's "liquid gold" is produced and taste it. You will continue to the town of St. Nicholas. Enjoy for a short while the peaceful, picturesque atmosphere. Overnight in the Heraklion area.
