Malaga - Authentic gastronomic tour with wine tasting and bites (included in the price).
We offer a different kind of guided tour in the old historic part of Malaga, the city of Picasso, to get a closer look at its landmarks, small streets, see part of a Phoenician GARUM factory, the old Muslim fortress of Alcazaba (outside), the Roman Theatre (outside), the Cathedral of Malaga (outside). During the walk we will enter for 30/40 minutes one of the best and most visited restaurants in the city, owned by Malaga native, Antonio Banderas. There, we will taste two glasses of local wine (white and red) per person, accompanied by Iberian jamón tapas and the typical fried shrimp croquettes of the area. We will then continue our walk through the old part of the city, passing through the main and upmarket pedestrian street of Larios to enter a famous local traditional and upmarket restaurant, which has a large wine cellar with a variety of wines, some of which are of its own production from the restaurant's annual harvest from vineyards located outside Malaga. In the restaurant we will also do a tasting of two glasses of local wine (white and red) per person, whose cultivation, storage and production will be told by a professional sommelier. All this, of course, accompanied by typical Malaga bites (tapas) that few foreigners know - Tapa de goza con gazpachuelo individual, plus traditional bread and a glass of water. Separately, we will be served 5 types of different cheeses from the area. Once we are done we will have free time in the city for a self-guided tour. Duration - 5 hours. In the morning - departure from the hotel. Arrival in Granada. Explore the impressive Alhambra Palace. Visit the "Hall of the Two Sisters" and the famous "Court of the Lions", which take us back to the 14th century, the Palace of Charles V and the gardens of Generalife - the summer residence of the ancient Spanish kings with many fountains. From here you have a wonderful view of the city and the Sierra Nevada. Free time in Granada to visit the Cathedral or the Royal Tomb of the Catholic Kings. Local wine or beer tasting included with tapas bites for the area. Possibility to have lunch in an area with many restaurants with typical cuisine (optional). Departure from Granada. Return to the hotel.

After breakfast we check out of the hotel and depart for Ronda, 15 minutes from this romantic town we will stop at the Rancho of the Toreador Rafael Tejada (included in the package).

After breakfast we will drive to the authentic Andalusian village of Corteconcepcion on the province of Huelva, where we will visit the Iberian jamón processing factory with a tasting. (included in the package).
We will visit Dehesa, 100 meters from Nuestra Bodegas in Corteconcepcion, where Iberian pigs are raised freely. If you are calm and walk quietly, you will be able to see them very close, we will show you in detail their habitat in the natural environment, feeding on acorns in the forest and the water pools they inhabit. We will learn about terms such as "montanera", "dehesa", "arrobas" or "quintales" and we will learn to distinguish in the field the 100% pure Iberian breed from others, as well as the quality control that P.D.O. Jabugo does.
We will visit the meat maturation cellars with the windows open for natural air exchange.
We will analyze all the artisanal processes of making this extraordinary culinary work, both for sausages and artisanal hams, step by step, finally identifying the most important secrets of this art.
Depending on the season, there are activities that are not demonstrated live, but can be seen on a panoramic screen next to the facilities themselves, making the whole process clear and detailed enough for visitors.
In the tasting of this original cellar processing will be cut for you:

We will pair with 2 white wines D. O. Condado de Huelva.

When we are done we will leave for Seville where we will take a guided tour of the old part of the city with the Santa Cruz neighborhood, the Golden Tower (outside), Santa Maria de la Cede Cathedral (outside). Free time and accommodation at Hotel Bellavista Sevilla 4*. Dinner. Overnight.
After breakfast, we'll set off for Seville, en route to the capital of the autonomous region of Castilla-La Mancha, somewhere from where the mythical hero Don Quixote de la Mancha originated. This iconic capital is Toledo, one of Spain's most beautiful cities. Together with a local guide, we will first take the bus up to the balcony of El Mirador del Virgen del Valle, from where we can enjoy an incredibly beautiful landscape offering views of the old town, the Tahoe River and the city's historic bridges. Then we will take a walking tour through the most important historical sites, entering the Cathedral of Toledo Santa María. Free time and departure for Madrid. Accommodation at Hotel Novotel Madrid Center 4* . Dinner. Overnight.
Breakfast. Free time to explore the city on your own with a trip to the Prado Museum - one of Europe's most important museums with masterpieces by Diego Velázquez, El Greco, Francisco de Goya, Rubens, Bosch, Raphael and many others. Check-out from the hotel around 12:30. Lunch at a local restaurant after which we continue our journey with a sightseeing tour to see the main attractions of Madrid: Piazza Oriente, a favourite place for residents and visitors to Madrid, designed during the reign of Joseph Bonaparte; Piazza España with the monument to the great writer Miguel de Cervantes and the statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza; the Gran Via, the most famous street in the city; La Sibeles Square with the fountain dedicated to the goddess of fertility; Plaza Mayor, the heart of the city, where coronations, executions, markets, bullfights and fiestas were held in the past; Puerta del Sol, the entrance gate of the old city, where the "zero kilometer" of the Kingdom of Spain is located and the symbol of Madrid, the statue of the bear and the madrone tree. Stop at the Royal Palace - built in the 18th century during the reign of Felipe V on the foundations of a 9th century Moorish fortress / view from the outside /. Around 17:00 transfer to Madrid airport for the return flight to Sofia at 20:30. Arrives in Sofia at 02.11.24 at 00:55.
