Here you will discover the Serranos towers - centuries-old guardians of the city, the Plaza de la Virgen and the beautiful Turia fountain, the Cathedral of Valencia - today guardian of the Holy Grail, the "Round Square" with its many lace shops, "La Estrecha" - the narrowest building in Europe, the "Silk Exchange" - a masterpiece of the Valencian Gothic style, the "Central Market" which delights its visitors with beautiful souvenirs and delicious tapas. After free time for lunch, the tour continues with a panoramic section describing the old bed of the Turia River, today transformed into a beautiful green park. The road will take you to the "City of Arts and Sciences", a unique architectural ensemble , the work of Santiago Calatrava and Felix Candela. Visit: the Devil's Bridge, an aqueduct 217 metres high and 26 metres long, a spectacular example of the progress of Roman engineering; the preserved remains of Roman civilisation in the high part of the old town; the ancient suburban walls, which are one of the best preserved thoroughfares in Europe; the remains of the 2nd century Amphitheatre, located on the Mediterranean coast, which witnessed bloody battles between gladiators. PortAventura Breakfast. Free time or optional visit to the amusement park "PortAventura". The park is easily accessible by public transport, distance from the hotel - about 45 km (the price is for ticket only, does not include transport).
