About this tour

Cancellation periods and penalties:

  • if more than 60 days prior to the departure date – no penalty will be charged;
  • between the 60th and 45th day before the departure date, the amount of the deposit payable by the airline will be deducted as a penalty for the cancelled ticket;
  • between the 45th and the 20th day 70% of the value of the TA is deducted
  • in case of less than 20 days, 100% of the excursion will be charged.

In the event that the USER voluntarily cancels his/her trip, during its duration, all additional costs, including transportation costs, shall be at his/her own expense.
The CUSTOMER has the right to transfer his right to travel to a third party within a period of time appropriate to the specifics of the destination, the issuance of airline tickets on international flights and no later than 01.11.2023, being obliged to pay to the TOUR OPERATOR only the amounts due related to the possible reissue of tickets.

Information on health requirements: there are NO REQUIRED medical and sanitary requirements for travel to India at this time.

Travel for persons with reduced mobility: travel is generally NOT suitable for persons with reduced mobility.

The tour operator has taken out insurance “Liability of the Tour Operator” within the meaning of Article 97 of the Tourism Act
Enrolment Conditions:
    • A deposit of 1000 BGN per person is payable upon enrolment and full payment is due 45 days prior to departure.
    • The offer is valid for a minimum of 14 tourists.
    • Deadline for notification of uncollected minimum – 30 days before departure.
    • Travel is without medical requirements for immunizations.
    • The tour operator reserves the right to change the announced hotels on the program with other 5*, identical in quality;

    • International passport with min. Validity 6 months after the date of return; 1 recent photo in electronic format 2″ x 2″ (600×600 pixels); For the issuance of the electronic approval for a tourist visa to India it is necessary to provide scanned color copies of the passport and photo and a completed form, which is provided by the tour operator at least one month before the date of departure, Requirements for scanned documents: scanned colour copy of the passport in PDF format (minimum size 10 KB, maximum 300 KB) and 1 scanned up-to-date colour passport photo in JPEG format (minimum size 10 KB, maximum 1 MB)

  • Indian Tourist Visa - $40 and completion of form, valid passport with at least 6 months from date of return, recent photo in electronic format 2" x 2" (600x600 pixels). It is paid for and obtained electronically, in advance from Bulgaria, by laying at the Delhi airport and taking biometric data.
  • tips for guides and drivers / minimum tip required / EUR 35 per person for the whole programme, payable locally.
  • tips for porters, rickshaw and jeep drivers, and other local staff serving the group - approximate tip about 200 Indian rupees per service received (about 2 euro) - paid on the spot by each tourist when using the respective services;
  • additional events:
  • Attend an impressive Bollywood-style Mohabbat music and dance performance, Agra - €36 (additional cost and booking in India)
  • expenses of a personal nature;
  • food, drinks and services not mentioned in the programme;
  • Trip cancellation insurance, which is taken out at the customer's request. The tour operator shall provide the possibility to take out additional travel cancellation insurance under Art. 80, par. 1, item 14 of the Law on Tourism with ZJSC Armeec, covering the costs of trip cancellation, trip curtailment and interruption due to health reasons of the traveler, his relatives, urgent appearance at work, redundancy, etc. The insurance shall be taken out at the latest within 5 calendar days from the date of payment of the deposit. Meeting at 14:00 at Sofia Airport with the group leader. Flight at 15:55 to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines. Landing in Istanbul at 18:25. Short stay at the airport. Connecting flight to Delhi at 20:50 hrs.

Morning sightseeing tour (included) of Old Delhi, a mix of old monuments, narrow streets and bustling markets. Drive past the Red Fort - a massive fort, a UNESCO monument - called the "Heart of India". The fort was built after the shifting of the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi, served as the residence of the Mughal emperors until the arrival of the British. Drive past Chandni Chowk, a main boulevard from the Mughal dynasty and today the city's largest shopping area.
Visit the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial - Raj Ghat .
The tour continues with a visit and tour of Qutab Minar (UNESCO), a magnificent example of Hindu-Islamic architecture built on 27 Hindu and Jain temples. It is also home to the world's tallest minaret at 73 m, an architectural masterpiece from the 13th century with a diameter of 15 m at the base and 2.5 m at the top. Its walls are decorated with sentences from the Koran, the holy book of Muslims. The Minaret is one of the most perfect towers of the Persian world.
Passing by India Gate (1931) - the memorial arch on which are inscribed the names of 90 000 Indian soldiers who died during the First World War. Tour (outside, no stopping allowed) the President's Residence, formerly the Viceroy's Palace and Parliament House, an interesting mix of Victorian and 20th century modern architecture.
Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most famous Sikh gurdwara or Sikh house of worship in Delhi, and famous for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, and the lake in his compound known as "Sarovar". It was first built as a small shrine by the Sikh general Sardar Bhagel Singh in 1783, who oversaw the construction of nine Sikh shrines in Delhi.

In the evening, visit Birla Mandir, also known as Lakshmi Narayan and have the opportunity to observe the Aarti ceremony, a Hindu worship ritual in which torches soaked in purified ghee or camphor oil are offered burning to the Gods. The Birla Mandir Temple is situated at the foot of the Moti Dungri Fort, about 6 km from the centre of Jaipur. Although, not very old, this temple is known for its magnificent architecture and gentle beauty. Dedicated to the Hindu God Vishnu and his consort Goddess Lakshmi. In this temple there are smaller temples of various other gods and goddesses of Hindu religion.

Excursion (included) to the ancient capital Amber and see the amazing Amber Fort, whose construction began in the 17th century, the old capital of Rajput before Jaipur was built.
Elephant ride to the top of Amber Fort (elephant ride is only possible if available and for a small fee, otherwise the climb is done by jeeps). The fortress looks impressive, built entirely of white marble and red sand, with architecture influenced by Hindu and Islamic styles. Walk through the complex of palaces, halls and gardens, the most captivating of which are the Shish Mahal - the Mirror Palace and the Jai Mandir - the Victory Hall.
On the way, a brief photo stop at the Palace of the Winds (Hawa Mahal) built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 with a unique pyramid shape. There are 953 small windows decorated with small bars. They served the ladies of the palace entourage to oversee the processions and various activities as well as the life of the city.

In the afternoon, sightseeing of Jaipur begins with the City Palace. The beautiful palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during his reign. The City Palace stands proud with its amazing architecture and gardens, courtyards and buildings. Visit the museum dedicated to the city palace itself with rich collections of textiles, weapons, paintings, carpets, etc.
Near the palace is the Jantar Mantar Observatory (UNESCO), built by Maharaja Jai Singh between 1724 and 1735. The Maharaja was known more as an astronomer and astrologer than as a conqueror. The tour continues with a look at the observatory. Although, it looks like a strange collection of stone and marble sculptures, each construction has a strictly defined purpose. The observatory has 17 major instruments, most of them still operational.

Visit Agra Fort (included) - Agra Fort, known as the Red Fort, is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by a 70 metre high wall, it is the longest fort in India. Located 2.5 km northwest of the Taj Mahal, it offers spectacular views of the tomb and the sacred Yamuna River. The red sandstone fortress walls jealously guard and beautifully tell the story of the Mughal Empire.
