About this tour

Minimum number of tourists for the excursion: 40 tourists.

The deadline for notification if the minimum number of tourists for the organised trip is not reached is as follows:
– 20 days before the start of the tour. inclusive package – in case of trips lasting more than 6 days
– 7 days start of tour execution. inclusive package – in case of trips lasting from 2 to 6 days
– 48 hours before the start of the tour. inclusive package – in case of trips lasting less than 2 days

Method of payment: deposit – 30% of the package price; additional payment – 15 days before departure.

Cancellation periods and penalties:

For bookings made at EARLY BOOKING rates for all types of programs – 95% of the deposit paid.
For bus programmes at regular prices:

– From the day following the day of booking until the 60th day before the date of departure – 10% of the total cost of the package;

– From the 59th day to the 10th day before the departure date – 30% of the total cost of the package;

– From the 9th day to the 1st day before the departure date – 100% of the total cost of the package;

For holiday offers (Easter, May Day, Christmas, New Year, etc.) at regular rates:

– From the day after the day of booking until the 91st day before the date of departure – booking fee 30 BGN for each person in the contract, except in cases where there is a ticket issued. Then the carrier’s conditions apply.

– From 90 to 60 days before the departure date – 30% of the total cost of the package;

– From 59 to 31 days prior to departure – 50% of the total cost of the package;

– From 30 to the 1st day before the departure date – 100% of the total cost of the package;

For any change regarding a reservation after the initial booking for all types of travel packages except when an air ticket is issued (then the carrier’s terms and conditions apply) a fee of BGN 30 will be charged.

Required documents and travel conditions: valid ID card or international passport with min. 6 months validity from the date of departure for Bulgarian citizens. For children under 18: International passport , notarised declaration from the non-travelling parent(s) – original and copy, copy of birth certificate, copy of passport photo page. The offer is not suitable for persons with reduced mobility. There are no passport, visa, medical or health requirements associated with travel.

- Excursion to the rock monasteries of Meteora (full day 07.00h - 19.00h) - The unique monastery complex of 6 active monasteries, built on the tops of inaccessible cliffs with a height of up to 600 m above sea level is located in the fertile Thessalian plain, at the foot of the mountain range of Pindus. The second largest monastic republic after Mount Athos, it originated on this site in the 11th century and to this day zealously preserves and follows the canons of Orthodox Christianity. In 1988, Meteor was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. On the way visit an icon making workshop where you will learn about the technology of icon making and can buy interesting souvenirs. You will have the opportunity to visit a monastery on the territory of the monastic republic - "Transfiguration". On the way you will stop for lunch in a restaurant where dishes of the Greek national cuisine are offered.Price per adult - 30 euro; for a child up to 10.99 years - 25 euro (entrance fees for the monasteries are extra)- Buggy Safari in Olympus (10.00h - 16.30h) - With the column of buggies we will head to the uniquely beautiful women's active monastery of St.. Ephraim Syrin. There we will refresh ourselves with Greek coffee and homemade jam, prepared according to old recipes by the nuns themselves. After taking wonderful photos and exploring the monastery we will continue to the waterfalls of Agia Kori, moving to the foot of the mythical Olympus. You will have the opportunity to bathe in the crystal waters of the small lake that forms one of the waterfalls and enjoy the beauty of this paradise. Afterwards, we will take a scenic route to Plaka Litohoro, where you can sunbathe, enveloped in the warm caress of the Aegean Sea. The maximum capacity of one buggy is 4 people. Each empty seat is charged an extra 50 BGN in case tourists want to be less than 4 people.
Each buggy must have a minimum of 1 tourist over the age of 23 with a driving licence driving the vehicle. Advance booking is required prior to your departure from Bulgaria to ensure you have a qualified driver in case you do not have one.
Buggies travel in column on paved roads with licensed and experienced drivers and overtaking is absolutely prohibited. The drivers of the column are qualified mountain and water rescuers and have the right to change any driver who does not respect the traffic rules in the column or behaves inadequately.
It may be necessary to change the driver during the journey at the driver's discretion.
Participants must bring their driver's license (driver only), windbreaker, water, sunglasses, bathing suit and beach gear.

Iztok - 7.15 am, from Dupnitsa - 7.20 am. from OMV gas station, from Blagoevgrad - 7.45h. from the stop between the station and the bus station, from Sandanski - 08.30h. from Happy Bar & Dinner. on the route Sofia - Kulata - Paralia Katerini. Arrival in Katerini Paralia, check in at the hotel. Free time. Overnight.
