The oldest imperial city and the third largest after Casablanca and Rabat, it was founded in 790 during the reign of Moulay Idriss II, which eventually became the religious centre of Morocco. The city is divided into three parts: Fes el Bali, the old walled part, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site; Fes Jdid, part of the new Fes, including the so-called Mela, Morocco’s Jewish quarter; and Vil Nouvel, the newest part of Fes, created by the French. You will have the opportunity to visit the Medieval Medina, the Madrasa Bou Inania – built between 1351 and 1356 by the Sultan’s son Abu Inan Faris, which houses the educational school and mosque. It is the only one in Fez to have a minaret and is one of the few open to non-Muslim tourists. Opposite it is Dar Al Magana, a hydraulic clock with an amazing structure. Morocco’s second largest mosque, Al Qaraouin, which was built in 859 as a madrasa, is one of the leading spiritual and educational centres in the Muslim world. We will also see the famous Fountain of Nejarin. The tour continues through the small streets of the medina filled with thousands of shops and stalls.

Shefchaouen- the blue city of Morocco. They say it’s not worth going to Morocco if you don’t see Shefshauen. The town is nestled in the slopes of the Rif mountain range. It originated in the 15th century by settlers from Granada, today’s Spain. Its appearance is a mixture of Arab, Berber and Mediterranean architecture, but the most impressive thing is that the town is entirely blue. The tour includes a stroll through the medina, passing artisan shops for crafts that are unique to Shefchaouen. The Grand Mosque and a visit to the old kasbah (entrance fee possible). Free time.

Departure to the fabulous Meknes (under UNESCO protection), created by Sultan Moulay Ismail and called the Moroccan Versailles. There is the largest gate in Morocco and North Africa established during the reign of Moulay Ismail – Bab Mansour. El Khedim Square. Arrival in Rabat, panoramic city tour including the Hassan Tower, the unfinished minaret that has watched over the city from above for more than 800 years and the mausoleum of the Moroccan Sultan, later King Mohammed V – the finest of Arab-African art expressed through onyx, marble and fine carvings; the Royal Palace – view from outside. Depart for Casablanca – the beating heart of Morocco. We will have the opportunity to enjoy the charm of this cosmopolitan coastal capital. Walk along Boulevard De La Corniche, on the Atlantic coast, the majestic Hassan II Mosque (if possible, visit with additional entrance), pass by bus through the upscale Anfa district. Visit the United Nations Square and the largest park Arab League with its palm trees.
Marrakech – the Pearl of the South, a true tale of 1001 nights, an oriental rhapsody in red hues. Founded in the 11th century – the second imperial capital – an amazing city, with its Islamic and Arab architecture.
“If you want to get to know Morocco but only have one day, spend it in Marrakech,” said Winston Churchill.
Bright colours, various scents and fragrances, a maze of tents and souks, magic lamps, monkey and snake trainers, henna messages written directly on the skin – the exoticism of Marrakech will transport you to the world of “1001 nights”.
The Pink City will immerse you in its love tale where even commerce is romance!
We will see the Koutoubia Mosque – the largest mosque in Morocco- the icon of Marrakech. Legend has it that the beloved wife of Emir Yaqoub al Mansour donated all her gold jewellery, which was used to make the spheres at the top of the minaret. She did this to atone for a sin… Not what many immediately think. She simply drank a glass of water during Ramadan and thus broke the sacred fast.
We will pass by the commercial shops full of quaint oriental goods, where the magic happens.
A visit to the colourful Gemma El Fna Square, a square teeming with life, with atmosphere, scents, aromas and colour, where charm and joy are everywhere.

In the Moroccan pearl of Marrakech, there is a garden – the gardens of Majorelle– a French artist who discovered the charm of North Africa. Jacques Majorelle says he orchestrates harmony in his garden. “I give myself completely to this horrible thing. It has overwhelmed me and I fall into its captivity completely exhausted in the shade of its branches, having given all my love…”
The history of the garden began in the 1920s, when the colonial era was at its height. It was then that Morocco was occupied by France. In the same year, a prominent French artist, Jacques Majorelle, settled in Marrakech. He bought the garden with the ideal goal of breathing new life into it. And it succeeds – rushing streams, water lilies and lotuses, chirping birds, rustling leaves, pink scent in the air, wildly vibrant and sparkling colours all around.
Today, Jacques Majorelle is forgotten by history, but the garden – quite the opposite, thanks to a big name in the world of haute couture – Yves Saint Laurent. It is to the famous designer that we owe this wonderful little piece of paradise. He took over the management of the garden in 1980, enriching it, not allowing it to sink into oblivion. Later, a small museum dedicated to Islamic art was built in the garden.
