IMPORTANT:

4. The tour operator reserves the right to make changes to the program and flight schedules.
BONUS package MAXIMUM SECURITY
In the event of early termination of the contract at the initiative of the TRAVELER, the amount paid by him or on his behalf shall be refunded through the travel agent who concluded the travel package contract with the TRAVELER on behalf and at the expense of the tour operator, when the TRAVELER is unable to start and complete the trip due to any of the following reasons, which was unforeseeable at the time of conclusion of the travel package contract and occurred before the date of departure regardless of the will of the traveler:
1.1.Accident, acute illness (an illness that occurs suddenly and unforeseen, poses a danger to the life or health of the traveller and requires urgent medical intervention) or sudden exacerbation of a chronic illness of a TRAVELLER under the travel package contract, excluding a COVID 19 illness, provided that hospital or home treatment is in progress at the commencement date of the trip and there is a risk of the traveller’s health deteriorating from the trip.

Sudden illness or accident of a relative of the TRAVELLER (spouse), a relative in the direct line – without authority or in the consanguineous line – up to and including the second degree), provided that hospital or home treatment is in progress at the start date of the trip and the traveller is required to care for the sick person.

Etna and Taormina (included in price)

Depart the hotel early in the morning to visit Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe.
We climb by bus to 1910 m at the Sapienza shelter.
Free time to walk to the side craters “Silvestri”, tasting honey, liqueurs and other local delicacies.
It is possible, at an additional cost and in favourable weather conditions, to reach the “Philosopher’s Tower” at the foot of the four active craters at an altitude of about 2900m by cable car and off-road buses.
Ticket for the cable car and jeeps – 68 euro / 50 euro (4 – 10 years)
Warm clothing (during spring and autumn months) and comfortable shoes are recommended, for extra climbing, a warm jacket can be hired locally.
Departure to Taormina.
Free time to stroll through the picturesque streets, with the opportunity to visit the Ancient Theatre, a magnificent work of nature and man, from where a breathtaking view of the bay is revealed.
Interesting are the Roman Odeon, the city park, the attractive main square with the panoramic 9th of April Square, where the famous “Wunderbar” is located – a favourite place of Liz Taylor, the Duomo Square, a favourite place of Oscar Wilde, the fountain “The Four Fountains” .

Palermo’s architecture mixes all styles, reflecting the city’s intricate and rich history.
It is the only place in the world where all the major Mediterranean civilisations have left their mark, from the Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs and Normans, to the Spanish and French.
The heart of Palermo is marked by the Baroque “Quattro Cantti”, next to it is the “Piazza Pretoria” with the “Fountain of Shame”, behind the Municipality building is the “Martorana” church, where Afresco, Byzantine mosaic and Baroque merge in a harmonious masterpiece.
Next to the “Martorana” is the Church of Saint Cataldo, a wonderful example of Arab-Norman architecture.
The walking tour ends in front of the Teatro Massimo, Italy’s largest lyrical stage.
Free time with shopping, independent visit of Teatro Massimo, the Catacombs of Capuchins, some of the Arab markets, the Botanical Garden, the Art Gallery.
In the afternoon, we head to Montréal for a visit to the city’s Cathedral, an extraordinary masterpiece of 12th-century Norman architecture with impressive Byzantine-style mosaics that tell the story of the Old and New Testaments.
Please do not wear short skirts and shorts!

A full-day excursion that will give us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the most famous cities of western Sicily.
The area is characterized by an amazing combination of historical monuments and amazing natural pictures.
We depart in the morning for the medieval town of Erice, located on the site of an ancient Hellenistic city, 750 m above the port of Trapani.
It attracts tourists with its wonderful view over the whole coast and the feeling of being immersed in the fairytale world of the past.
Fortresses, towers, battlements, churches, monasteries, even ordinary homes and buildings are made of hewn stone.
Cobbled streets lead from the 14th century Cathedral to the 12th century Norman Venus Fortress, built on the site of an ancient sanctuary from Hellenistic and Phoenician times.
In the afternoon we head to the town of Marsala, famous for its famous wine of the same name and the mooring of Garibaldi and his Thousand on 11 May 1860. The town was founded by the Phoenicians in the 8th century BC on Cape Lilibeo, the westernmost point of the island. We’ll get there by the “Street of Salt”, where vineyards give way to an endless trough of salt pans guarded by windmills, looking out into the pink-green waters of the sea. The excursion will then continue with a tasting of the famous Marsala wine, and also of excellent white and red wines. In the historic centre, the main sights are the Porta Garibaldi and the monument to the eponymous hero, the Cathedral, the Palazzo Comunale, the fish market, the churches of San Giovanni and Purgatorio, the Porta Nuova, the National Lilibeo Museum, the Theatre, the harbour.
