Famagusta Breakfast. Free time or possibility of excursion to Famagusta - the pearl of Cyprus (pre-booking). The city will fascinate everyone with its amazing views throughout the day. The tour starts from the Old Town - the Venetian fortifications from the XVI century. The Othello Tower offers a beautiful panorama of the harbour. The former Cathedral of St. St. Nicholas Cathedral, an example of medieval French Gothic, has been converted into a mosque and is named after the Ottoman conqueror of the island, Lala Mustafa Pasha. Free time. Overnight in Famagusta area.
Nicosia Breakfast. Nicosia is the capital and largest city of the island. It was the last divided capital after the fall of the Berlin Wall. During the tour you will enjoy the historic city center in oriental charm. You will explore the Venetian walls that surround the Old Town. Erected in the 16th century, they are today a major tourist attraction as they are some of the best preserved Renaissance walls in the eastern Mediterranean. You will see the Cathedral of St. Sophia, modeled after the church of the same name in Constantinople. You will also see the late 16th century mosque of Ahmet Pasha outside. You'll have free time to wander the covered markets of Buyuk Khan and Karmajilar Khan. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. Free time for a self-guided tour of the two parts of the city - the Greek and the Turkish. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to go shopping in the especially popular jewellery shops of Cyprus. Overnight in the Famagusta area.
Salamin - Monastery of St. Barnabas - Kyrenia Breakfast. We set off to discover the jewels of the island! Visit the Monastery of St. Barnabas. You will see the Icon Museum, the Archaeological Museum, and the chapel built on the tomb of the Apostle Barnabas, the founder of the Church of Cyprus. The tour continues through the ruins of the historic city of Salamis, made famous by Homer. Along the way you will visit a carpet factory where you will learn about the entire production process, from the extraction of the raw material to the finished woven product. The journey continues to Kyrenia. Overnight in the area of Kyrenia.
Kyrenia - Bellapais Abbey Breakfast. A full day tour of Kyrenia, the most fashionable city in Northern Cyprus, during which you will discover the history and charm of the city.
