From 11:00: Half-day excursion to the old authentic Dubai and the gold market with lunch at a local restaurant (included).
Our tour will start with the Arabian Tale, which will slowly take you to the old part of Dubai in the neighborhoods of Deira and Bur Dubai to experience the flavor and colorfulness of the Arab world. Here you will see the Al-Fahidi Fort - located in the south of Dubai, in the area of Al-Suk Al-Kabir, which is filled with vigorous trade and is close to the ruler's palace. It was built in 1787 as the monarch's quarters and a fortress of defence, as it was located on the urban fringe of Dubai at the time. Later this fortification became an arsenal for artillery and weapons. It is also used as a prison for criminals. This fortification was renovated during the reign of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. It was inaugurated in 1971 (the year the federation was formed), to be an official museum that displays Dubai's history and its original heritage. In 1995 another underground museum was created and added to the old fortress. You will get a glimpse of local life as it was before the discovery of oil and before the Emirates became synonymous with tech boom and a place of the future. The tour will continue with a visit to the old Bastakiya district. This is in fact the historical part of Dubai, where the oldest buildings and walls of the city are located. Here you will see the cooling wind towers, specific to the Arab world, which tower over each house and act as natural air conditioners. We will also take a short walk along Al Fahidi Fort. You will find yourself in a maze of small winding streets with vendors inviting you to buy anything your eyes land on.
We'll continue the walk by crossing to the other side of Dubai Creek, the natural waterway that divides the city into two parts - Deira and Bur Dubai. You will experience the interesting emotion of sailing for a short time on the traditional water taxi, the "abra" boat. The tour continues with the spice market, perfumes and the popular "Golden Market". Here a colourful mix of spice fragrance, plenty of nuts, sweet Arabic aromas await you, and the goldsmiths' workshops will leave you speechless with their lavish jewellery and skilful craftsmanship. At the end of the walk you will also visit a shop where you will be able to choose and buy various souvenirs, and then a delicious lunch awaits you at a local restaurant. Free time.

Archaeological excavations began in the early 20th century and the main landmark is the stone temple of Gal Vihara, the most famous temple in Sri Lanka. It is carved into the rocks and a monolithic statue of a reclining Buddha, which is as long as 15 m, is placed next to the artificial caves thus created. Another landmark of the ancient city is a temple known by the nickname of Lankatilaka or "pearl of Ceylon", in front of whose giant statues one can feel like an ant.

Here, many of the legends, traditions and folklore associated with the mythical city, known above all for its amazing relic - the Sacred Tooth of Buddha, which is kept in the Dalada Maligawa Temple (includes temple visit), will come alive for you.
Kandy is a bustling small town, carrying the relaxed atmosphere of sanctity. But at the full moon in July or August each year, it erupts in a whirlwind of an age-old and raucous ten-day festival called Esala Perahera. For five nights the ceremonies and dances in front of the five main Buddhist and Hindu temples do not stop. Then, on the sixth night, processions set out from the shrines to the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth). Each night they become more lavish and spectacular, with costumed dancers, drummers, musicians, acrobats and performers walking on stilts, waving coloured ribbons, dancing with whips and juggling torches, all against a backdrop of dozens of elephants draped and draped in cloaks of lights. For the final procession, all the performers, as well as more than a hundred elephants, gather together, led by the largest male elephant, who carries a replica of the holy reliquary on his head.
Visit the Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya, spread over 147 acres of land. Begun in the 14th century and once a favourite walking garden of the Kings of Gampola and Kandy, today more than 5,000 species of trees, plants and shrubs can be seen, including some rare and endemic species representative of the flora of the tropical climate zone. Here you can also enjoy the popular among tourists "Spice Garden" and "Orchid Garden".
